Licensing

We welcome inquiries about licensing Mort Künstler’s paintings.  Fine art from America’s leading historical artist is available for licensing for advertising, publishing and other projects. We have a library of more than 1,000 images on subjects ranging from Native Americans to 21st century military. This includes the American Revolution, Colonial era, Civil War, Old West, Farming, World War II and the Space Shuttle, as well as his Men’s Adventure art.

Künstler’s work in the men’s adventure magazine genre in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s helped define an era in publishing. His captivating and sometimes provocative images adorned the covers of True Adventure, True Action, Stag, Male, and For Men Only.  These illustrations have become emblematic of pop culture.

Mort Künstler’s works of art have proven to be a successful component of advertising campaigns, museum installations, television and film productions, books and magazines, products and other commercial and educational ventures.

Each licensing project is considered individually. Our licensing agreements, and the associated fees, take a number of factors into consideration to maintain the integrity of Mort’s works.
