This poster of Mort Kunstler’s painting Splitting the Herd commemorates the exhibit American Spirit Remembered which opened at the Booth Western Art Museum, in Cartersville, Georgia on March 3, 2005.
This exhibition is based on the artistic highlights of the career of Mort Kunstler, the leading historical artist in America. His landmark book American Spirit serves as a guide to the exhibition. A full range of American history is presented, including examples of Kunstler's Western, Civil War, Space, and general American history subjects. This exhibit was organized by the Booth Western Art Museum, in cooperation with Hammer Galleries of New York City.
