Ramey Air Force Base


On a day like today in 1956…

At Ramey Air Force Base in Puerto Rico, a six-man crew of a Boeing B-52G “Stratofortress” review the aircraft forms prior to an eighteen hour training mission. The red baseball caps, typical of the time, identify them as members of the 60th Bomb Squadron. This painting, Ramey Air Force Base Cold War, was painted in 1956.
