On a day like today in the 1930’s...

In the 1930’s, farmers all over the country were still using animals, as well as the newer sources of gasoline and steam powered machines. Here, the farmer’s son drives a team of horses as the farmer harvests the corn crop with his John Deere tractor and corn harvester in a joint animal and machine operation.
