Tappan's Burro


On a day like today during the 1850’s...

Through the exciting years that followed the discovery of gold in California, lonely prospectors, each equipped with a grubstake, digging tools, and a burro, sought elsewhere for riches in the earth. Virginia City, Alder Gulch, and Tombstone were among the bigger strikes.
