Harold Holzer is a leading authority on Abraham Lincoln. He has authored, co-authored, and edited 36 books, including The New York Times The Complete Civil War 1861-1865, Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory: The Civil War in Art, and Lincoln at Cooper Union: The Speech That Made Abraham Lincoln President, which won a 2005 Lincoln Prize. He currently serves as Senior Vice President for External Affairs at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
