This Day in History
Voisin Farman

On a day like this in 1908…

The Voisin Farman was a flying machine designed and built by two brothers, Gabriel and Charles Voisin and first flew in 1907. By 1909, the planes were assembled on a production line and more than 20 had been built. This one was adapted for Henry Farman, an Englishman, who lived most of his life in France.
