A message from Mort Künstler:
I think the Internet is one
of the most exciting developments in communications
today. I am delighted and eager to participate in
the continuing development of MortKunstler.com.
I have been very fortunate
to find great success doing something I love. My paintings
and prints are in fine museums and galleries all over
the world. They also appear in films, television programs,
books, posters, calendars, magazines and other products.
Unfortunately, this kind of exposure often attracts
people looking to make a quick, dishonest buck. Some
claim to be my publisher or agent or even my exclusive
representative, when they are not. Some use posters
or cut up books and calendars and sell them as prints.
Some have websites where they offer these images to
the public, misrepresenting what the product really
is. Part of my enthusiasm for this website is that
it enables me to set the record straight and warn
the public about these impostors.
I would like it to be known
that Hammer Galleries in New York City has been my
sole representative for the sale of original paintings
and drawings since 1975. American Spirit Publishing
is the sole and exclusive worldwide publisher of my
limited edition prints. Only dealers listed below
are approved and authorized by the publisher and me.
I sincerely appreciate having
the opportunity to address this matter personally.
We have many new and exciting innovations planned
for the future and I look forward to continuing to
work with Hammer Galleries and American Spirit Publishing
well into the twenty-first Century.

Some Dangers of Online Auctions
Online auctions have become a way of life for many
of us. . . we poke around to see what's there. .
. we compare prices in stores with what we can find.
. . and sometimes we say, "Heck, the buyer
is protected," so we start bidding.
